Tere Bin Laden’ is a tounge-in-check comedy about an ambitious young news reporter from Pakistan who is desperate to migrate to the US in pursuit of the American dream. His repeated attempts to immigrate are shot down as his visa is always rejected. But when things couldn’t look worse he comes across an Osama Bin Laden look alike, Ali then hatches a scheme to produce a fake Osama video and sell it to news channels as a breakthrough scoop! Unfortunately there are serious ramifications as the White House gets involved and dispatches a overzealous secret agent on Ali’s trial.

Although the band’s album launch video of the single Chall Bulleya came out in September 2008, the Mekaal Hasan Band (MHB) have recently launched their album in Pakistan via The Musik Records (TMR). The record label seems to be headed for a comeback this year as they plan to release albums by other major bands, such as Overload and Karavan, this year as well.

The album launch concert took place at the Commune Artistes’ Colony in Karachi where the set had been done up to reflect an industrial look. The band performed singles off their new album which included the massively popular Jhok Ranjhan…

It was reported today that Entity Paradigm and Arif Lohar were found jamming in Coke Studio in Karachi. They will be part of the season 3 in Coke Studios. It is also heard that EP and Arif Lohar will be doing a song together.

Season 3 will also feature Noori, Abida Parveen, Aunty Disco Project, Karavan, and more.

We have come to know that Javed Bashir the lead vocalist of the Mekaal Hasan Band has quit the band. This has been a very sad moment for music industry of Pakistan as the two maestros separate their ways.

The news also went live on “Express News” where Javed was invited for a live call conversation. He mentioned that he has left the band and he also mentioned his upcoming band with his brother. MHB “just recently” did the album launch in Pakistan where band was “intact”. As the news develops, it seems that this is not the rumor and Javed has actually left…

Hadiqa has made her mark and continues to do so in the fashion industry not only by working with top designers and makeup artists but last year she admitted to have even started to design her own clothes but now she has ventured into the world of beauty. She is the new makeup artist for Lajwanti and recently in an interview with Omer Sharif and Imran Abbas, Hadiqa admitted to have a passion for hair cutting and makeup.
