Soon after Farhan launched his cafe’ rock, Goher Mumtaz from Jal the Band has launched his own recording studio called “GM Studioz”. Goher believes that working for 3 years as music producer has given him enough confidence to start music production at his own studio.

Brainchild behind Mizraab, Pakistan’s first progressive metal band, Faraz started out as a session player working for over 50 major artists around the country, the likes of which include Sajjad Ali, Vital Signs, Junoon, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Ali Haider and Nadeem Jafri to name a few. With his passion for music knowledge, in 1996, Faraz was awarded an educational scholarship and an outstanding musical achievement award from The Berkley College of Music, Boston, but was unable to proceed due to personal hurdles.

Former Pakistani cricket captain Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza have got engaged and will tie the knot in April, a media report on Monday said.
“The two sports stars have been in an affair for the last six months which had led to Sania’s earlier engagement to break,” Geo TV reported.
Sania’s father Imran Mirza confirmed to media.
The channel also said Malik’s mother had gone to Hyderabad in India where she met with Mirza’s family and finalised the marriage.
The wedding ceremony will take place in April while the valima reception will be hosted by Malik in Lahore on April 16 or 17.

Imran Lodhi, the founding member of ADP passed away last night in Canada.
The vocalist of the band Omar Bilal Akhtar released a statement saying: “I currently don’t have the words to express the shock, the grief and complete heartbreak. I did not think I would have to write a eulogy for another friend so soon.”
