Ahad Raza Mir set to star in Netflix’s ‘Resident Evil’ series

Big news everyone! Ahad Raza Mir, a Pakistani actor, has been cast in the Netflix original series Resident Evil.
According to Variety, the 28-year-old actor will star in the action-packed film, which will center on a new plot based on Capcom’s iconic video game.
Mir’s character in the series, on the other hand, is yet to be revealed.
Constantin Film, which has six feature films based on games under its belt, will direct the project. Andrew Dabb has not only written but also executive produced the series.
Mir has been a regular on the international stage for some time, including Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet (2014) and Lennox in the 2015 rendition of Macbeth. He also landed the title role in the International Shakespeare Company’s 2019 production of Hamlet: A Ghost Story. For his turn as Hamlet, he received Canada’s Betty Mitchell Award for outstanding performance by an actor.
Yaqeen Ka Safar, Ahad-e-Wafa, and Ye Dil Mera have all helped Mir establish a name in Pakistan’s entertainment business. He recently starred in Dhoop Ki Deewar, a ZEE5 online series about a cross-border love story, alongside fellow actor and his wife Sajal Aly.
