Alizeh Shah Shuts Down Online Hate

Alizeh Shah broke her silence on Instagram, sharing a heartfelt message about the criticism and judgment she has faced over the years—especially when it comes in the name of religion.

On Monday, she addressed the hate directly, writing, “Lately, no matter what I do, someone finds a reason to be upset with me. I stay quiet and mind my own life, but the judgment never stops. So many harsh words… and most of them in the name of religion.”

The Ehd-e-Wafa actor expressed how deeply it hurts to see faith—something personal and beautiful—used as a weapon online. “I don’t understand why people use religion to spread so much hate,” she said.

She clarified that she didn’t post to defend herself or argue. “I never had the strength for that. My connection with Allah lives in my heart, quietly. I’m still learning. Still growing.”

She ended her post with a heartfelt plea: “Please, be gentle. Not everyone is as strong as they seem.”

On Tuesday, Alizeh followed up with a stronger, more defiant message. “I didn’t let anyone touch me for a role. I didn’t fake relationships to stay relevant. I didn’t stay silent when I felt uncomfortable,” she wrote.

She admitted that speaking up has come at a cost. “Because of that, people judged me, ignored me, and pushed me aside. It broke me. I saw others succeed while I stayed behind. I cried. I questioned everything.”

Despite the pain, she stood by her choices. “I know I couldn’t live with myself if I had done what they did. Even if I lose, I stayed true to myself.”

She ended her message with a single, powerful word: “Goodbye.”
