Cricketer Imam-ul-Haq to Tie the Knot This Month
Pakistan’s cricket team opener, Imam-ul-Haq, is set to start a new chapter in his life. He is preparing to marry after the ICC World Cup 2023 concludes. The wedding festivities will kick off on November 23 in Lahore. Featuring the highly anticipated Nikkah ceremony on November 25, followed by the Valima reception on November 26.
Sources have revealed that the wedding events will kick off with a Qawwali night on November 23, although the name of the performing group remains undisclosed. The 27-year-old cricket sensation, who recently represented Pakistan in the World Cup in India, is expected to don a Prince coat on his special day.
The bride-to-be seems to have been revealed to the world by ace designer HSY. The Instagram page for his creations shared an image of Anmol Mehmood, with the caption, “Imam’s Anmol” in Urdu. The handle also tagged both the cricketer and his future wife.
Considering the ICC World Cup final took place on November 19 in Ahmedabad, the choice to conduct the wedding celebrations after the mega event indicates a strategic decision.
Reports suggest that the joyous occasion is expected to be attended by cricketing stars. Such as Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, and others from the national team. Invitations will also be extended to former players and management personnel.
