Faiza Hassan Claims That Male Lead Actors Feel Insecure Working With Older Female Actresses

Faiza Hassan, a seasoned Pakistani and film artist, has worked in the industry for many years. She gained popularity through her roles in dramas like “La Hasil”, “Izn-e-Rukhsat”, “Sahil Ki Tammana”, “Burns Road Ki Neelofar”, “Nand”, and more. Fans recently praised her portrayal of Safina in Hum TV’s “Jaan Se Pyara Juni”. She currently stars in the drama serial “Aapa Shamim”, where the story focuses on her character.

Faiza Hassan recently appeared on Madeha Naqvi’s “Subh Ka Samaa” morning show. During the show, Faiza discussed the insecurities of leading actors in their fifties.

Talking about it, Faiza Hassan said, “Men in the media industry are complex or insecure. Many actors above 50 don’t want to work with us (middle-aged women) because they feel threatened and insecure. Firstly, they think that they would look younger by working with younger actors, and secondly, they think that we will overpower them through our work”. Javeria Saud also added, “Wives of middle-aged actors also say that they want to see their husbands with younger girls; they have told me that they don’t want to see their husbands with the women of their ages.”
