Fazila Qazi Criticizes Modern Parenting Trends

Fazila Qazi, a well-known actress and artist, recently shared her thoughts on modern parenting trends during an appearance on Madeha Naqvi’s show. Fazila, who has had a long and successful career starting with PTV, is married to fellow actor Qaiser Nizamani, and they have a strong and loving relationship. She is also a mother to two boys and even paused her acting career to focus on raising them.

During the show, Fazila expressed her concerns about how today’s parents are handling their children. She feels that many parents are overly lenient and too gentle, which, according to her, is having a negative impact on their children’s behavior and development. She believes that this overly delicate approach is not benefiting the children as they grow up.

Fazila criticized the trend where parents avoid setting boundaries or disciplining their kids out of fear that it might harm their child’s self-esteem or mental health. She argued that this avoidance of discipline results in children becoming poorly behaved. In her view, while it is important to show love and support, it is equally crucial for parents to teach their children about right and wrong. She reflected on her own upbringing, noting that her parents balanced affection with discipline, which she believes was essential for her development.
