Hasan Raheem Releases a Softer Version of His Song ‘Obvious’

Hasan Raheem fuels the fire of hopeless romantics with his warm vocals. On Tuesday, the singer shared yet another unplugged version of his track Obvious on Instagram. Referencing the lyrics, he wrote, “I keep getting trapped in a snare. There’s joy in finding a way out.”
As Hasan thanked his fans for replaying the track, his listeners flooded the comments with appreciation. Some responded with hearts, while others embraced the melancholic mood. “This version is everything,” one user wrote, while another urged, “You have to post more unplugged songs!”
In January, the 26-year-old singer serenaded his followers with an unplugged version of Maand, his collaborative track with Bayaan and Rovalio. “We put a lot of love into this track, and you gave it so much more. Thank you so much,” he shared.
On the work front, Hasan dropped an upbeat track, Radha, in late December, which fans instantly dubbed a “bop.” “Gosh, Hasan Raheem is always making bops! Like the Pakistani music scene is bopping! So glad to have found these artists, because I was never really a fan of Pakistani songs,” a YouTube user commented.
For those who cannot get enough of the Wishes singer’s melodies, he is set to perform at the Moin Khan Academy in Karachi on Sunday.
December also marked a special collaboration between Hasan and Jo Tu Na Mila singer Asim Azhar. Their track, YOU, received a pastel-themed music video that visually captures the song’s softness. While the beat carries an ear-friendly thrum, the lyrics maintain the passion of true love.
Dressed in light, casual wear, the two artists mirror the song’s gentle energy with their expressions. Fans on Instagram showered them with praise. “Both of you look super cute,” one user commented, while another compared them to Elphaba and Glinda from Wicked due to their outfit choices.
One term, in particular, echoed throughout the comments section. “A pookie-core music video, this was!” a fan remarked. The artists couldn’t help but join the fun. “How many pookies will you kill?” Hasan playfully commented, to which Asim responded, “A pookie will come from every house.”
