For Samiya Arzoo, the India-born wife of Hasan Ali, the Cricket World Cup served as an opportunity to visit her parents after four years of working in Dubai, marriage, and motherhood. Samiya, an engineer with Air Emirates, hails from Chandaini village in the Nuh district of Haryana. Taking a break from her role with the Pakistani delegation for the World Cup, Samiya, along with her daughter, reunited with her family in India. Notably, Hasan and Samiya’s 2-year-old daughter, Helena Hasan Ali, is experiencing India for the first time, making the family gathering even more special.
