Humayun Saeed Addresses Career Criticism and Hate

Humayun Saeed recently appeared on a TV show where he openly discussed the hate and criticism he has endured throughout his career.
During the interview, the veteran actor recalled the backlash he faced early on. “I’ve received criticism for every film I’ve done since the beginning,” he said. “When I acted in my first film Inteha, I played a college student while I was actually in college, yet people age-shamed me. I remember reading an article at the time that claimed I looked too old for the role.”
He added, “The truth is, I never looked like a young boy—even when I was one. I’ve always looked like a grown man.”
One of Pakistan’s most successful actors and producers, Humayun Saeed commands a fan base of 7.6 million Instagram followers. His hit projects include Mere Paas Tum Ho, Dil Lagi, Kabhi Kabhi Pyar Mein, Mehndi, and Punjab Nahi Jaungi.
As the head of production house Six Sigma Plus, he has delivered several major hits.
Currently, Humayun is enjoying the success of his romantic comedy Love Guru, which has grossed 77 crore rupees at the box office. He also plans to return to television soon with a new drama.
