Iqrar Ul Hassan Responds to Accusations About His Family
In a recent interview with Public News, Iqrar Ul Hassan addressed the backlash regarding his family background and his father. He revealed that his critics often retaliate by attacking his personal life and family, especially when he exposes their wrongdoings. Iqrar explained, “When I expose others, they retaliate by tarnishing my reputation and speaking ill of my father, who no longer lives with me.”
Iqrar shared that his father had a second marriage when he was in sixth grade, leading to their separation. His father moved to Germany, and they have had minimal contact since then. Iqrar emphasized, “His opinions and beliefs are his own, and I have nothing to do with him. I respect him as a son, but I am not concerned with his life or choices.”
Criticism on His Ancestry
Iqrar Ul Hassan also tackled the accusations challenging his ancestry. Critics have questioned his background, claiming he is not a true Syed. Iqrar firmly refuted these claims, stating, “Without knowing about my family structure, certain individuals have challenged my background and claimed I am not Syed. I am Naqvi Bukhari Syed, and my ancestors are from Bukhara. These things can be verified through proper channels.”
He further mentioned that the Sadaats (descendants of the Prophet Muhammad) would address these false accusations after Muharram, a much important period in the Islamic calendar.
