Juggan Kazim Opens Up About The Dark Side Of The Media Industry

Juggan Kazim is one of the most popular television hosts in Pakistan, known for her excellent acting in numerous hit projects. She now hosts a morning show on PTV. Her recent popular television projects include “Agar”, “Hadsa”, and “Lagay Aag Is Muhabbat Ko”.

Lately, Juggan Kazim appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, where she discussed the dark side of the drama industry.

Talking about the media industry, she said, “Initially, people in our industry would often try to get physically close to you. Many of the lead actors would place bets on who would be the first to date the new girl in the industry. It was quite a common thing back then, and my question is: why were those married men taking interest in the girls? I shouldn’t have kept my mouth shut at that time; I should have spoken out about it. I was wrong to stay silent”.

She further added that “people in the media industry are often insincere with each other. They speak sweetly but stab each other in the back. She also said that this industry can achieve great things if actors and celebrities would keep their jealousy aside and work together.”

While talking about facing verbal abuse, talking about it, Juggan said, “I have accepted verbal abuse which I should have not. I never defended myself when people used to abuse me or look down upon me because I thought I was like that. I defended everyone.”
