Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar Claims Pakistani Films Outshine Hollywood
Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar one of Pakistan’s most revered writers, has crafted numerous successful dramas and films. He penned acclaimed shows such as “Mera Naam Yousaf Hai”, “Mere Paas Tum Ho”, and “Landa Bazar”. His talent also brought to life blockbuster films like “Punjab Nahi Jaongi” and “London Nahin Jaunga”.
Khalil ur Rehman Qamar appeared as a guest on the “Zaviya” podcast, where he shared his thoughts on Hollywood and Pakistani films. He stated that Pakistani films surpass Hollywood in creativity and explained his specific reason for holding this belief.
He said that “because Hollywood has greater budgets while we are making films on miniscule money thus we are better than them. He added that if he had that kind of money, he would make more superior films than Hollywood.”
