During an appearance on a private TV show, a fan expressed interest in seeing Shahnawaz act alongside the iconic actress. In response, Shahnawaz joked, “I can play her son. Yeah, I can play her son, definitely.”
He further added that the Jab We Met star is much older than him, implying that his role would be limited to playing her son.
Kareena’s fans quickly voiced their disapproval on social media. One fan remarked, “Kareena wouldn’t even know who he is; I’ve never even seen one of his dramas.”
Another comment labeled the actor as “full of himself.” The clip, which was widely shared on Instagram, received numerous angry comments, further fueling the online backlash.
