Lahore Theatre Honors Arshad Nadeem with “Achu Nezebaaz”
Lahore’s local theatre brings the inspiring journey of Pakistan’s Olympic gold medalist, Arshad Nadeem, to the stage in the play ‘Achu Nezebaaz’. Debuting on August 23, the play has garnered acclaim for its portrayal of Nadeem’s rise from a small-town enthusiast to an Olympic champion.
Talented theatre artist Saqi Khan masterfully plays the role of Arshad . Muhammad Yusuf produces the well-received production, with direction and writing by Dr. Ajmal Malik.
Arshad made history at the Paris Olympics 2024 by winning an Olympic gold medal and setting a new Olympic record with a 92.9-meter javelin throw, ending Pakistan’s 29-year gold medal drought in the sport.
