Nauman Ijaz: Labeling Critics Jahil in a Bold Statement

Nauman Ijaz is widely recognized as one of Pakistan’s most versatile actors, with a career spanning diverse roles and winning hearts across the nation. His ability to embody a wide range of characters, from intense dramas like “Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahin” to recent hits like “Raqeeb Se,” and “Sang e Mar Mar” has cemented his place in the hearts of audiences.

Controversial Statements:

While celebrated for his acting prowess, Nauman Ijaz is also known for making statements that sometimes spark controversy. Recently, he drew attention for his remarks about Pakistani society, which some found divisive.

Nauman leads his life according to a set of beliefs, which include taking his work seriously as a form of worship. Before stepping onto the set, he performs Wuddu, a ritual cleansing, as a sign of respect and to seek blessings for the outcome of his work. This practice is rooted in the teachings passed down to him by his elders.

In a recent interview with Geo News, Nauman Ijaz reaffirmed his commitment to his beliefs, including the practice of Wuddu before work. He expressed anticipation of criticism, acknowledging that some may question his ability to work with female co-stars after performing Wuddu. However, he dismissed such criticism as ignorant, labeling those who engage in it as “jahil,” or ignorant.

Nauman Ijaz’s statement about Pakistani society stirred debate, with some agreeing with his assessment while others found it offensive. He lamented what he sees as a prevailing ignorance among the populace, particularly regarding matters of faith and practice.
