Pakistani Celebs Hail Ceasefire with India as Step Toward Peace
Pakistani celebrities welcomed the ceasefire between Pakistan and India, praising it as a hopeful step toward peace in the region.
After US President Donald Trump announced on X that both countries agreed to an immediate end to hostilities, showbiz stars reacted with relief and optimism.
Sajal Ali called the ceasefire a “ray of hope,” expressing her love for Pakistan and support for peace. Osman Khalid Butt dismissed recent allegations against Pakistan as “baseless,” saying the attackers’ identities remain unknown and praised the ceasefire as wise.
Aiman Khan expressed pride in Pakistan’s resilience, while Humayun Saeed stressed on Instagram that war is never the answer. Yumna Zaidi called the move a “success for Pakistan,” asserting that “truth always prevails.” Other celebrities echoed calls for India to avoid further aggression and celebrated the return of calm.
