Sabeena Farooq Slams Constant Criticism of Celebrities
Sabeena Farooq recently used her Instagram Story to call out the constant criticism faced by celebrities. She directly addressed online trolls, saying, “Not everyone with a blue tick has the right to criticize celebrities… Enough with this.”
She urged critics to try living in celebrities’ shoes before judging them. “You’re not the ones receiving thousands of abusive messages every day—we are,” she said. Sabeena also clarified that not all artists should be blamed for the silence of a few.
The Mann Jogi actor’s remarks come amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, especially after India’s ‘Operation Sindoor.’ Sabeena condemned the violence and voiced empathy for all innocent lives affected, saying, “Killing people in the dark is plain cruel.”
She concluded by urging both Pakistani social media users and Indian media to act responsibly, stressing that empathy, not hatred, should guide public discourse.
