Sarah Khan Struggles with Emotional Scenes in Dramas Due to Personal Grief
During a fan interaction, Sarah Khan revealed that crying on demand for a scene is one of the most challenging aspects of her acting career. Despite her frequent portrayal of sad characters, she admitted, “I can hardly cry during the scenes.” She shared that directors often ask her to channel personal grief or sad memories to trigger tears, but this approach doesn’t always work for her. “Many sad events have happened in my life, but I don’t feel like crying,” Sarah explained. Instead, she resorts to using artificial methods to mimic tears during her emotional scenes.
Reel Vs Real Life
Although Sarah struggles with these emotional scenes, she continues to take on roles that challenge her acting abilities. She expressed her desire to showcase more than just her ability to cry, highlighting that she prefers characters that allow her to explore other dimensions of her talent. Outside of acting, Sarah remains busy in her personal life. She’s married to singer Falak Shabbir, with whom she shares a daughter, Alyana. Currently, Sarah is also involved in charitable causes, participating in events supporting Palestinians during her visit to the UK.
