Beloved Comedian Sardar Kamal Passes Away at 72

Pakistani comedian and actor Sardar Kamal has passed away at the age of 72. He suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and died while being treated at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology. Kamal had been experiencing heart issues prior to his passing.

Sardar Kamal was a well-known figure in the entertainment industry, celebrated for his roles in theatre dramas, popular PTV sitcoms, and various comedy shows. He was particularly recognized for his sharp comedic timing and spontaneous humor. Recently, he appeared on Dunya TV’s “Mazaaqraat,” hosted by Imran Ashraf. Kamal also had a notable presence in stage shows, including the hit production “Janam Janam Ki Maili Chadar,” and had recorded an episode of “Mazaaqraat” just a day before his death.

Originally from Faisalabad, Kamal lived in Iqbal Town, Lahore, where he was surrounded by friends and family. He leaves behind a widow, two sons, and a daughter, all of whom are married.

The news of Sardar Kamal’s death has led to an outpouring of grief from fans and fellow media professionals on social media. His contributions to Pakistani comedy and entertainment will be fondly remembered, and his passing is a significant loss to the industry.
