Saud and Javeria Saud Discuss Rising Divorce Rates

Saud and Javeria Saud are a well-known celebrity couple who have enjoyed a long and stable marriage. Coming from different entertainment backgrounds, Saud was a film star while Javeria worked in television. Despite their different career paths, they had an arranged marriage and are now proud parents of two beautiful children. In an era where many marriages end in divorce shortly after the wedding, Saud and Javeria represent a model of marital stability.

Recently, on Madeha Naqvi’s show, the couple discussed the increasing divorce rates and shared insights into their successful marriage. Javeria expressed how grateful she is for Saud’s qualities as a husband and hopes their daughter Jannat will find a partner like him. They reflected on the current trend of marriages breaking down and contrasted it with the traditional system of arranged marriages, which they believe had its advantages.

Javeria humorously noted that some people end up marrying within their friend circles, which can contribute to the high divorce rates. Saud added that nowadays, expectations in marriages can become overwhelming. He emphasized that in their arranged marriage, they allowed themselves time to understand each other without setting unrealistic expectations, which helped their relationship  thrive.
