Showbiz Celebrities Honored with Civil Awards on Pakistan Day

On Pakistan Day, the government honoured actors Sajal Aly, and Adnan Siddiqui, TV host Juggun Kazim, singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and film director Bilal Lashari with civil awards for their significant contributions to the country.

The event, which recognised individuals across diverse sectors, saw Governor Punjab Balighur Rahman presenting the award to Sajal Aly, acknowledging her remarkable performances and dedication in the field of acting.


TV host Juggun Kazim also received the ‘Tamgha-i-Imtiaz’ for her hosting career expanding to a decade.

Similarly, at the Governor’s House, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori honoured individuals in various fields, including actor Adnan Siddiqui and Qadir Bakhsh, with the Presidential Pride of Performance Award for their notable services.


Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari conferred Pakistan’s second-highest civilian award “Hilal-e-Imtiaz” on iconic musician Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for his services in the music industry.
