Sophia Mirza, an actress, admits planning a robbery and stabbing her ex-husband.

Model and actress Sopha Mirza, who is based in Lahore, is in hot water after her ex-husband Umar Farooq Zahoor filed a Rs500 million defamation complaint against her. The 44-year-old actress wed Umer Farooq Zahoor in 2006, and the couple split the following year. Her twin girls are content to live with their father in Dubai.

According to the information provided by Daily Pakistan, the actress has admitted that she organised a big heist at her husband’s home to steal half a million Dhiram in cash and money, and that she then attacked him with a knife.

The actress Sophia Mirza reportedly provided a written statement, which reads in part, “I conspired to steal from my husband’s safe at his apartment in Dubai, located in Emaar Tower number 2, Apartment 405.” My maid “Razzia” and a close friend of mine, Ms. Nasrin, an Emirates airline air hostess, were both participating in this scheme. Later, she claimed that she had to alter her theft plan and turn it into a robbery in order to lessen the likelihood that she would be apprehended.
