Tabesh Khoja and Rao Ali Khan Face Backlash Online for Trolling Usama Khan

As fans eagerly anticipate Yumna Zaidi’s big screen debut, Nayab, on January 26, the film’s cast has been making headlines for their fashion statements during promotions. Usama Khan, Zaidi’s co-star, has mainly stood out, showcasing a keen sense of style with trendy streetwear ensembles.

Usama Khan’s bold color and cut experiments in men’s fashion, from a casual yellow ensemble to a glam pastel teal coat, are gaining praise in Pakistan. Yet, celebrity stylists Tabesh Khoja and Rao Ali Khan remain unimpressed.

After a local media outlet shared an Instagram post praising Usama’s recent fashion looks as “the fresh face and hip hero Lollywood was waiting for,” the actor’s admirers took to the replies to relay their resounding agreement. The post commends Usama for “bringing a wave of charisma to the silver screen.”

Disapprovingly, Khoja responded with a sarcastic “Matlab kuch bhi” in the replies, dismissing the post’s appreciation of Usama as far-fetched. His dismissive tone was emphasized with a rolling eyes emoji, highlighting his lack of impressed sentiment.

Rao echoed a similar sentiment, criticizing the actor’s style as “Govinda and Ranveer Singh rebranded in China.” Screenshots of these remarks are circulating on X (formerly Twitter), with both fashion enthusiasts and Usama’s fans slamming Rao and Khoja for trolling the actor.

One user wrote, “Why are Khojji and Rao Ali Khan being mean girls? Are they some gatekeepers of fashion? Usama Khan feels good and looks good then what’s their problem? God, I hate these snotty stylists.”
