Popular Tanveer Jamal, a Pakistani television actor, director, and producer, was recently diagnosed with cancer for the second time. The actor has relocated to Japan for treatment. According to details, actor Tanveer Jamal was diagnosed with cancer for the first time in 2016, but he recovered after treatment and resumed working in dramas. However, a few months ago, he was diagnosed with cancer again, which severely impacted his health. Tanveer Jamal fell ill on the set of his play ‘Mere Apne’ last year and was replaced by Firdous Jamal in the play.


Tanveer Jamal has been a prominent television figure in Pakistan for the last 35 years as a result of his brilliant acting. Tanveer Jamal received the PTV award for his outstanding performance. Tanveer Jamal rose to prominence by directing and producing the first action-packed mega drama serial ‘Godfather’ in a private production, which was shot in Pakistan and Japan. He has appeared in a slew of popular drama series, including Tasweer and Teri Raza. He is also the director and producer of the upcoming film Japan Connection.

According to Geo News Urdu, the veteran actor has also requested prayers for his recovery from his loved ones all over the world, including Pakistan.
