Tazeen Hussain Opens Up About Her Father’s Dementia Struggle and its Impact on Family

Tazeen Hussain, daughter of the esteemed Talat Hussain, has returned to acting after taking a hiatus to focus on her teaching career and family. She recently revealed her father’s battle with dementia, reaching out to his fans for prayers, which have contributed to his improved health.

Reflecting on the changing attitudes towards medical conditions, Tazeen recalled a time when dementia wasn’t widely recognized, and families would compassionately accommodate affected individuals. She stressed the importance of reinstating some of these cultural practices in modern times, noting a shift towards a more clinical approach to such diagnoses.

Tazeen also shed light on the challenges her mother faces as her father’s primary caregiver. Despite the family’s collective efforts, her mother, once an independent professor, now shoulders the responsibility of caring for her husband. Tazeen emphasized the need to prioritize her mother’s well-being, as advised by her father’s doctor, recognizing her mother’s sacrifices and the importance of supporting her alongside her father.
