The story of Khalilur Rehman Qamar and Mahira Khan isn’t finished yet!

Renowned playwright Khalilur Rehman Qamar and Pakistani actor Mahira Khan still have unresolved issues. They haven’t been speaking for many years. Recently, the director of ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’ expressed his displeasure about not receiving an invitation to the wedding of the ‘Maula Jutt’ actor.

An interviewer asked Khalilur Rehman about Mahira’s marriage during the interview. “I wasn’t invited by Mahira Khan. But I wouldn’t have attended her marriage even if she had invited me,” the acclaimed writer said.

A Streak of Unresolved Issues Between Khalilur Rehman Qamar and Mahira Khan

He further stated that Mahira had made a serious error by posting a tweet against him in the past.

Mahira publicly criticized Qamar for his 2020 live show argument with Marvi Sirmed. Since that incident, Mahira and Qamar have not been on good terms.

Later, Khalilur Rehman regretted casting Mahira in his project.

“It was a sin to cast Mahira Khan in drama Sadaqe Tumhare,” he had said.

Furthermore, Qamar mentioned that he’d join the Aurat March if the organizers removed the offensive slogans from the event.
