Unveiling the Unseen Struggles of Syed Jibran

In the vibrant realm of Pakistani entertainment, Syed Jibran doesn’t merely stand out as a talented actor; he reveals himself as a storyteller narrating his life, complete with humour, dedication, and a generous touch of parathas. During a recent interview, the Daraar actor shared insights into his fitness journey, the inception of his acting career, and the challenges encountered along the way.

I disliked going to the gym, so I devised a plan to create daily videos to motivate myself,” he disclosed. These videos not only served as his source of motivation but also provided amusement when a comment unintentionally labelled him as ‘far’ instead of ‘fat.

Delving into the diet, Jibran shared, “For fitness-demanding projects, I follow a specific diet, but after, I enjoy parathas.” Sundays mean two parathas and eggs, and a lifelong diet? “I’d smash that person’s face.”

Transitioning to his acting journey, Jibran recalled med school days when fate diverted him from gynaecology. A humorous surgery incident, then a bet— “I bet a hundred rupees I’d come on TV.” That wager ignited his pursuit.

Early struggles shaped by Dr. Wasim, a teacher, and Touqeer Shah’s offer marked his beginning. Jibran advised aspiring actors: “Give your best in every scene.”

Insights on the industry followed. “For a successful hero, fitness is essential. Now, both are needed in a package.” Villains now drive the story, he noted.

Reflecting on life’s lows, Jibran shared, “When at your lowest, Allah plans your greatest story.” Facing career challenges, faith and consistency were his anchors.

On industry luxuries, Jibran criticized award shows, citing money-making schemes. Twice on the brink of leaving, he persevered for the best outcomes.

Nominated for Chup Raho, Jibran felt deserving of an award, adding an ironic twist to his illustrious career. Personal anecdotes included his wife’s enthusiasm for award ceremonies.
