Yasir Hussain Calls Nadia Khan ‘Ahead of Arnab Goswami’

Actor Yasir Hussain clapped back at Nadia Khan after she criticized his new drama Paradise, remarking that she’s currently “10 points ahead of Arnab Goswami.”

The exchange started when Nadia Khan reviewed Paradise on her show Kya Drama Hai, giving it a low score of 4 out of 10 and calling it weak in terms of plot, characters, and execution. The program regularly features veteran actresses, including Nadia, reviewing Pakistani dramas.

In response, Yasir took to Instagram Stories to defend his work. “Numbers mean nothing. Don’t listen to critics—watch the drama yourself,” he wrote. He went further, saying, “I give Nadia Khan 1.5 marks for her entire acting career and 2.5 marks for hosting.”

Then came his pointed comment: “These days, Nadia Khan is 10 points ahead of Arnab Goswami.”

His reference to Goswami, a polarizing Indian news anchor known for inflammatory and often Islamophobic commentary, triggered widespread online reactions. The remark quickly went viral, with many users supporting Yasir and criticizing Nadia’s review.

Lately, Nadia Khan has faced backlash for her harsh tone and aggressive remarks about Pakistani celebrities and their appreciation for Bollywood. Yasir’s sarcastic comparison appears to be a direct hit at her recent conduct.
