Zareen Umer shared, “Umer Sharif became extremely ill, and the doctors suggested that I should take him abroad. However, according to the doctors, five days were already lost due to Jawad Umer’s delay. Jawad expressed displeasure when I proposed going to India, and during the process of applying for a USA visa, he insisted that the entire family accompany them. While I was tirelessly working for Umer’s life, Jawad was making such demands.”

Discussing Hira Umer’s unfortunate demise, Zareen Umer and Samaa TV Bureau Chief Naeem Hanif disclosed that Umer Sharif’s son, Jawad, allegedly played a role in his sister’s death. According to Hanif, doctors recommended a kidney donation from blood relatives, but Jawad opted not to donate and explored alternative options, eventually settling for an illegal transplant to conserve the funds allocated by Umer Sharif for Hira’s treatment.
