Zimbabwean Girl’s Atif Aslam Cover Goes Viral

Atif Aslam fans are thrilled by a viral video featuring a Zimbabwean girl singing one of his hit songs.
Pakistani-origin British singer Amir Hashmi posted an Instagram video where he performs Atif Aslam’s popular song “Tere Sang Yaara,” joined by the Zimbabwean girl.
In the caption, Hashmi wrote, “She is from Zimbabwe?? but she sang with perfection. She nailed it!”
In the caption of the second part of the video, he praised the girl, writing, “She sang Atif Aslam’s song in London and sang every word of the song beautifully.”
The video is being liked a lot by social media users and the Zimbabwean girl is also being praised for singing the song in near-perfect Urdu.
Who is Atif Aslam?
Atif Aslam, born in Wazirabad, Punjab, launched his music career in the early 2000s with his debut album Jal Pari. In 2005, he broke into Bollywood by singing for the Indian film Zeher. Following this, he recorded numerous songs for both Bollywood and Pakistan’s Lollywood. Aslam has also performed on Coke Studio, showcasing his versatility by singing in Urdu, his native Punjabi, Bengali, Persian, and Pashto. In 2008, he earned the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, Pakistan’s fourth-highest civilian honor.
