Abdul Razzaq,  celebrated in Pakistani cricket, now grabs attention for controversy. In a recent live cricket show Razzaq targeted the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and its players, using Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as an ill-fated analogy. He suggested that just as marrying Aishwarya Rai wouldn’t guarantee a pious generation, the PCB and players needed to purify their intentions to secure victory.

“I felt scared yesterday, during a conference where Razzaq said something. I didn’t hear exactly what he said and started laughing. In my mind, I was sure he must have cracked some joke as per his nature. When I saw the clip later, I felt really bad. Now, I will text Abdul Razzaq to apologize for what he said.

Notable figures like Mushtaq Ahmed and Sina Pasha condemned Razzaq’s remarks, deeming them in bad taste. They assert that such comments have no place in sportsmanship.
