Atif Aslam Announces New Project: Borderless World
Legendary singer Atif Aslam has launched Borderless World, a global music initiative aimed at connecting artists and audiences worldwide. Debuting on January 3, 2025, at Lahore’s Cue Cinema, the program offers a platform for emerging singers worldwide to showcase their talent.
Aslam unveiled the project with a teaser at the end of 2024, building excitement among fans. The launch ceremony featured celebrities like Saba Qamar, Bilal Lashari, and Hamza Ali Abbasi.
During the event, Aslam premiered Peeran, the first song under the program, which he composed and wrote. Released on his YouTube channel, the track marks the beginning of this ambitious musical journey.
Aslam said about the initiative, “Music transcends borders, which is why I created Borderless World—to unite global artists on one platform.” He revealed that the first season will introduce fresh talent, with plans to feature international artists in future seasons.
Aslam shared the program’s vision on Instagram, describing it as “a platform to bring together artists, sounds, and stories from around the world.” He emphasized his desire to give back to the industry and reconnect with his musical roots.
The program will feature original songs, iconic covers, and collaborations filmed in breathtaking global locations. Fans can look forward to 10 music videos shot outside Pakistan, including New Zealand, showcasing landscapes with universal appeal.
Aslam promised a nostalgic touch to his earlier music while embracing new sounds. “Somewhere, you’ll hear the old Atif Aslam,” he hinted.
