Bushra Iqbal Gets Fatwa Denying Dania Shah as Aamir Liaquat’s Widow
Bushra Iqbal, the former wife of the late Aamir Liaquat, announced a fatwa challenging Dania Shah’s widow status. Bushra stated that Dania Shah divorced Liaquat before his death, making her ineligible for widow status or inheritance rights.
In a public notice shared on social media, Bushra urged the media and the public to stop referring to Dania as Liaquat’s widow. She noted that official NADRA records do not list Dania’s marriage to Liaquat, further supporting her ineligibility for inheritance.
Bushra also highlighted that Dania has since remarried, reinforcing her stance against Dania’s claim as Liaquat’s widow.
The announcement comes after Bushra Iqbal and her daughter filed a case against Dania, alleging she was involved in spreading inappropriate videos of Liaquat and accusing her of causing his death.
Dania was later granted bail in the case by the court.
Second Marriage of Dania Shah
Dania Shah, the former wife of the late TV host Dr. Aamir Liaquat, announced her second marriage in July. In a video statement, she confirmed that she married a man named Shehzad a few months ago.
Dania shared that she faced numerous personal challenges and needed a supportive partner. After Shehzad proposed, she carefully considered his offer and accepted, leading to their marriage.
In another video, Shehzad introduced Dania to friends and addressed skeptics of their union, stating they had been married for several months.
