Kumar Sanu Addresses Imran Khan’s Viral Song Rumor

The renowned Indian playback singer, Kumar Sanu, has recently been caught in the whirlwind of a viral rumor concerning a supposed song dedicated to former Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan. The Kumar Sanu’s viral song for Imran Khan has been making waves across social media platforms in Pakistan, sparking widespread speculation. However, Kumar Sanu has now come forward to clear the air and address these rumors directly.
Kumar Sanu’s Viral Song for Imran Khan: The Clarification
In response to the circulating audio clip, Kumar Sanu took to Instagram to set the record straight. He firmly denied any involvement in creating or singing a song in support of Imran Khan or his political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The singer clarified that the voice in the viral clip is not his and has been manipulated using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Kumar Sanu expressed his concerns about the misuse of technology and emphasized that the audio is a fabrication meant to mislead his fans and the public. He urged his followers to disregard the fake news and to be cautious of misinformation.
The Misuse of AI in the Viral Clip
The viral audio, which falsely attributes pro-Imran Khan lyrics to Kumar Sanu, was reportedly created by dubbing over one of the singer’s classic hits, “Chori Chori Dil Tera,” from the 1993 film “Phool Aur Angaar.” The manipulated clip features lyrics advocating for Imran Khan’s release and reinstatement as Prime Minister, but Kumar Sanu has strongly condemned this act, calling it a serious misuse of AI and deepfake technology. He has also urged the Indian government to take swift action against such malicious uses of AI to prevent further incidents of defamation and misinformation.
