Meesha Shafi and Mohib Mirza’s Hilarious Digs at Bollywood Stars’ Met Gala 2025 Outfits

Pakistani celebrities Meesha Shafi and Mohib Mirza have stirred social media with their witty and biting commentary on the bold yet questionable fashion choices of Bollywood stars at the Met Gala 2025. The glamorous event, often dubbed the “Oscars of fashion,” showcased celebrities from around the world donning high-concept couture—but not everyone was impressed. Meesha and Mohib’s hilarious jibes have ignited both laughter and debate across platforms, drawing attention for their sharp observations on style and cultural representation.

Meesha Shafi took to Instagram and shared a story mocking Indian Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh’s much-hyped Met Gala 2025 debut. Dosanjh, who wore an ivory sherwani-inspired ensemble as a tribute to Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala, aimed to fuse South Asian pride with the gala’s theme of “Black Dandyism.” His caption read: “MAIN HOON #metgala. Inspired by the theme of Black Dandyism, I bring my turban, my culture & my mother tongue to the MET GALA.” While the singer’s effort to blend tradition with high fashion was applauded by many, Meesha wasn’t sold. She quipped, “Feels like the entire Met Gala was organized in his shaan,” playfully ridiculing the grandeur and cultural excess in his outfit.

Mohib Mirza joined in on the fun, uploading images of Bollywood stars from the event and cheekily captioning them with, “Aaj ka topic, Met Khala.” His tongue-in-cheek wordplay not only amused his followers but also threw shade at some of the bizarre outfit choices seen on the red carpet. Social media users were quick to pick sides—while some praised the stars for speaking their minds, others felt the criticism was unnecessary.
