Pakistani Designers Steal the Spotlight as Bollywood A-Listers Dons their Creations

The pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, hosted by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries, have captivated attendees and onlookers alike with their lavishness and planning. Amidst the extravagant affair, Pakistani fashion designers have garnered attention, adding a touch of cross-cultural elegance to the festivities.

Pakistani Designers on the Go

Pakistani designer Faraz Manan made a mark during the three-day extravaganza, featuring twice in the star-studded event. Styling Bollywood sensation Ranbir Kapoor in an impeccable all-black suit embellished with black sequins and detailed embroidery, Manan showcased his craftsmanship. The actor’s look, paired with his undeniable charm, went viral on social media, especially after posing for a photo with Indian badminton player Parupalli Kashyap.

Adding to the Pakistani design presence, Mira Rajput, wife of actor Shahid Kapoor, graced the event in a custom creation by Faraz Manan. Her pastel grey ensemble included a rhinestone-covered top with lace detailing on a flowing quarter-sleeved blouse, paired with a snug skirt. The outfit was elevated with a fabulous motif on the back and a leg slit, complemented by elegant diamante-encrusted pink Gedebe heels, showcasing the seamless integration of Pakistani fashion into the Bollywood glamour scene.

Sonam Kapoor Looked Ethereal in  Hussain Rehar’s Jugnu

Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor turned heads in a chic ensemble from Pakistani designer Hussain Rehar’s high street line, Jugnu. Named Eclipse, the outfit originally featured a black halter sleeveless embroidered top and an ivory A-line box-pleated skirt with black thread detailing. Sonam added her personalized touch by opting for a plain white top instead of the halter version, demonstrating the versatility and appeal of Pakistani designs on the global stage.
