Yasir Hussain Suggest Legalizing Porn in Pakistan to Boost Economy

During a recent discussion on the podcast ‘Excuse Me with Ahmad Ali Butt,’ actor Yasir Hussain shared his controversial thoughts on adult entertainment in Pakistan. Addressing the question, “Should there be adult entertainment in Pakistan?” Yasir brought forth the idea to legalise porn in Pakistan, suggesting it could benefit the economy.
Legalise Porn in Pakistan: Yasir Hussain’s Argument
Yasir Hussain argued that there is no need to promote adult entertainment because those who seek it will find it regardless. He highlighted that Pakistan ranks among the top countries for watching porn, often competing with Saudi Arabia for the leading position. “It’s shameful, but true. Large surveys don’t lie, this is happening. So, why not legalise it and let the government and people make money from it?” he said. Yasir firmly stated that he does not want to be involved in or promote adult content, but he believes that its legalization could be economically beneficial.
Entertainment Preferences and Professional Work
While discussing the type of content he prefers to watch, Yasir mentioned his interest in Punjabi comedy, particularly enjoying performances by Amanullah, Sohail Ahmed, Iftikhar Thakur, Honey Albela, and Sahawat Naz. Known for his work in popular dramas such as “Badshah Begum,” “Baandi,” and “Baaghi,” as well as films like “Karachi Say Lahore,” “Taxali,” and “Rabbit,” Yasir Hussain is a prominent figure in the Pakistani entertainment industry.
