Atiqa Odho Opens Up About Personal Struggles and Family Challenges

Atiqa Odho, a prominent artist known for her enduring roles in Pakistani dramas like “Humsafar” and “Pyar Ke Sadqay,” recently opened up about her personal life on Frieha Altaf’s podcast, FWhy. She candidly discussed the challenges she faced growing up in a broken home, where her parents divorced and remarried without initially informing her, leaving her to discover these changes through her school community. Atiqa tragically lost her father to cancer when she was just 19 years old, a profound loss that impacted her deeply at a young age.

Reflecting on her early life, Atiqa shared her experiences of facing a stalker at the tender age of 12, an ordeal that frightened her and her family enough to prompt thoughts of early marriage for her protection. This incident, which necessitated involvement from the FIA, contributed to her mother’s decision to support Atiqa in seeking marital security at a young age.

In addition to familial challenges, Atiqa revealed struggles within her own relationships, noting that her first marriage ended after a few years despite her desire for stability and a family of her own. Throughout her life, Atiqa expressed a longing for a paternal presence due to her father’s absence, which influenced her decision to marry early.
