Celebrities Say Religion Does Not Forbid Music After Abdullah Qureshi’s Decision

A lot of famous people have left the Pakistani industry because of their religion. Many stars also went that route and quit their jobs in movies, music, or whatever they did for a living. Junaid Jamshed is the best example of a musician who stopped making music because he became a Muslim. Sara Chaudhary, Sanam Chaudhary, and Noor Bukari, among other actors and actresses, also made this choice. Hamza Ali Abbasi stopped doing dramas because of his religion, but he didn’t quit the business. Instead, he said he would only do projects that didn’t go against what he believed. Feroze Khan also made this choice, but then changed his mind. The singer Abdullah Qureshi is the most recent person to be added to this list.
Abdullah said that he won’t be doing concerts or commercials anymore, but he will be available for awareness campaigns on social media or any work that is religious.
Natasha Baig, a singer, did not agree with Abdullah’s comments and told what she thought about what he said. She said that people can leave the business if they want to, but they shouldn’t make other people look like devils because music is holy.
