Celebrities Speak Out For the Victim of Abuse in Faisalabad
Since we witness horrible crimes being perpetrated daily in our neighbourhood and law enforcement authorities are preoccupied with everything else but catching criminals and protecting the public, Pakistan’s rising crime rate is no longer a secret. Another heartbreaking act of violence took place when Sheikh Danish, a Faisalabad resident, wanted to marry a BDS student who was also a friend of his own daughter. When she refused him, he kidnapped her along with his daughter and his slaves, tormented her, chopped off her hair, and forced her lick their shoes. Culprits are Sheikh Danish, his servants, and his daughter Ana.
Pakistanis are terrified and enraged by the state our nation has fallen into. Sheikh Danish, the primary offender, was released on bail after posting just 50,000 rupees. Like many residents, our celebrities are upset about the issue and have spoken out in support of the victim who has already through a terrible ordeal while the culprits are once again free.
