Sara Loren Returns To Lollywood For ‘Gidh’

Actress Sara Loren will be featured in the upcoming Lollywood film Gidh. It is the recent attraction for Pakistani cinemas and the forthcoming project of television actor and director Shamoon Abbasi.

The movie is going to be his directorial debut in Lollywood. Shamoon started working on this project before the shooting for Waar began.

Abbasi always wanted to came into direction. According to him, it is his responsibility to direct a picture which could deliver the aesthetics of sub-continent and Gidhi is an attempt to make a successful commercial Pakistani film. The movie is unlike other action movies, it is about the vultures in our society.

The world of glamor where nothing is as glittery as it seems, love will not find justice and endeavor to take revenge.

Gidh is surely going to replace the desire to watch and produce Bollywood style movies. Earlier it was decided to cast Ayesha Khan and Syed Jibran Ali in the movie but the starring cast has changed. It now features Humanyun Saeed, Sara Loren, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Shamoon Abbasi, two new faces Sidra Khan and Kiran Tanveer. The movie will be produced by Six Sigma Productions and it is expected to go in post-production by February 2014. It will be shot in the beautiful and scenic locations of Islamabad and Lahore.

The soundtracks of the movie are composed by Kamran Akhtar featuring breathtaking vocals of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Amanat Ali and Shujat Ali Khan. One of the songs of the movie went viral on the internet a few months back.
