Bakhtawar is a new drama series on Hum TV that tells the story of a strong girl named Bakhtawar. Written by Nadia Akhtar and produced by Momina Duraid, drama serial Bakhtawar tells the story of a courageous young woman who is living a difficult life and attempting to escape her troubled environment. The girl is enthusiastic about her future and strives to create a better future for herself. Yumna Zaidi, Zaviyar Nauman Ejaz, Saqib Sameer, Mizna Waqas, Noreen Gulwani, Shamoon Abbasi, Sunil Shankar, Huma Nawab, Adnan Shah Tipu, and others comprise the cast of the drama.
The drama series is based on the true story of a courageous woman, Fareen Ishtiaq, who has never known ease in her life and leads a difficult existence. In the drama Bakhtawar, Yumna Zaidi’s character “Bakhtawar” left home in order to earn money and find happiness; she and her mother left their village and began living as a man.
Farheen Ishtiaq Naqvi, who resides in Lahore, has pretended to be a man for many years in order to feed and protect her only daughter from the evil eyes of the society. This story is the inspiration for the drama serial Bakhtawar. First, she obtained a menial position, and then, after accumulating funds, she opened her own business in Anarkali. When the circumstances improved, Farheen told the world her story. In the drama series Bakhtawar, the daughter is depicted as making efforts to ensure her mother’s and her own survival, but in reality, it was the mother who made efforts to ensure her daughter’s survival.
Farheen is a very hardworking person who has also worked as a cashier at Domino’s Pizza. She also drives for Uber and she and her daughter have been living in Lahore with great difficulty. She has resided in Lahore for the past eight years.
