Adur Productions leads the crime thriller inspired by actual events, as stated in the caption of the post: “In a whirlwind of sentiments, we’re bringing you an emotional journey: Gunjal (Entangled), based on true events following journalist Shahbaz Bhatti’s investigation into the murder of child activist Irfan Masih. Masih had bravely fought against the practice of child labour in 1990s Pakistan.”

The official trailer for Gunjal came out on September 30, with the earlier release date being December 8, 2023. The almost 2-minute-long video teases the film’s compelling plot, revolving around the real-life journalist Shahbaz Bhatti, played by the skilled Ahmed Ali Akbar.
