Yasir, Feroze and Mawra on the same Loft for an Upcoming Project

Yasir Nawaz has established himself in the A-list of Pakistani directors as he has several hits to his name now. After taking some time for himself he’s ready to make a comeback, and has already signed big names including Feroze Khan and Mawra Hocane for his upcoming project.

Talking about the film, Yasir revealed: “My soon to go on floors film will be a thriller starring Feroze Khan, Mawra Hocane and myself, with Ahmed Hassan and Javed Sheikh playing supporting roles. It is going to be something new for Pakistani cinema, and I am pretty satisfied with the way the screenplay has shaped up.”

Elaborating more about the characters, Yasir stated: “Feroze will be playing a character who works from 9 to 5, whereas I will be taking over the avatar of an investigator.” Yasir chose to remain tightlipped about budding starlet Mawra Hocane’s role, saying: “I cannot reveal much about her character at this point, however, it is an intriguing role.”

Any particular reason why Yasir went for Feroze Khan and Mawra Hocane? “I introduced him as an actor and I think he fits the role rather well. As far as Mawra is concerned, I always opt for a new leading lady, having worked with Sohai Ali Abro, Sana Javaid and Neelam Munir previously. It should be pretty interesting to work with Mawra.”
