Bilal Lashari To Remake Maula Jatt

Bilal Lashari, the man who made it possible for bringing thousands of people to cinema screens to watch a Pakistani movie ‘Waar’.

Pakistani film industry has been neglected for far too long but the young and talented Bilal surely knew what the people needs and knew that how much important technology is these days in making movies.

Bilal Lashari revealed the news about his next movie ‘Maula Jatt’ which is going to be a remake of the original. It will be a Punjabi film but it’s going to give a new direction to the Gandasa movies, It is going to have a budget of millions of dollars so it may even cross Waar’s budget which is the most expensive movie in Pakistan to date.

“Maula Jatt will be much bigger and better than Waar, and my fans should keep expectations as high as possible, because that’ll motivate me to meet them.”

Though, he had worked a lot in making music videos for many popular bands and singers but lacked the experience in directing movies. But, that did not stop him for making a highest grossing movie yet in Pakistan which earned more revenue than even Chennai Express in Pakistan.

Recently, ‘Waar 2? was announced and is being produced by ARY Films and Mindworks Media. It also came with a sad news that Lashari will not be directing the movie instead writer and producer of ‘Waar’, Dr Hassan Waqas will direct the film.

It will definitely be a tough project for Lashari but will also be an opportunity to show what he can do to evolve the industry.
