Guess Which Superstar Was Initially Set to Portray Pyare Afzal?
Nadeem Baig has produced numerous TV shows and movies, with a recent focus on filmmaking, although he has also created successful TV dramas in the past.
Among his popular works are ‘Pyare Afzal’ and ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’. Baig appeared as a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, where he revealed the actor was originally selected to play the lead role in Pyare Afzal.
When asked by the host if he ever compromised on casting choices, Baig responded, “I never compromise on the script. However, sometimes you have to give a chance to a new actor, even if you had someone else in mind.
You know that the actor you prefer will excel in that role. Well, Humayun [Saeed] was initially set to portray Afzal in Pyare Afzal, but I told him, ‘This role isn’t suitable for you.’ He accepted it, and that’s how Hamza Ali Abbasi got the role.”
