Why Did Syed Jibran Keep His Wife Afifa Away from Humayun Saeed?

Syed Jibran, the Pakistani actor, engaged in a heartfelt interview with host Imran Ashraf on a talk show, where he explored the journey of his relationship with his wife, Afifa Jibran. Having married in 2011, Jibran recounted how their love story unfolded during a project involving showbiz star Humayun Saeed.
Sharing the encounter, Jibran revealed, “I saw her first at Heathrow Airport in London. I was there for a shoot with Humayun Saeed when I became friends with her (Afifa).”
However, Humayun soon became an intimidating force for Jibran, who humorously disclosed his efforts to keep Afifa away from the Bin Roye actor during their stay. “For the ten, twelve days we stayed there, she would ask me to invite her [to the shoot], but I would keep her away from Humayun bhai,” he said.
Syed Jibran Kept Her Wife Away for Some Genuine Reasons
Acknowledging Humayun’s star power, Jibran admitted feeling apprehensive about his influence on Afifa. “He is Humayun Saeed, and I am just Syed Jibran, so I stand no chance in front of him,” he added with a laugh.
Expressing gratitude for a successful relationship, Jibran explained why they married within eight months, emphasizing the challenges of a long-distance relationship. Now with two daughters and one son, the couple has built a loving and lasting bond.
From medical school to acting, Jibran’s journey into showbiz wasn’t planned. A bet with a friend catapulted him into acting, and he acknowledged the evolving role of villains in stories. Despite his confident on-screen persona, Jibran revealed a vulnerable side, admitting to stage fright and discomfort facing a large audience.
