Show Grace on the Road, Urges Sabeena Farooq

On Monday, actor Sabeena Farooq took to her Instagram story to deliver an important message for car drivers, urging them to be considerate of motorcyclists, especially families enjoying Eid festivities.

She emphasized the need for patience and kindness on the road, reminding drivers that these moments are precious for families who rarely get such opportunities to celebrate together.

“If you have a big car, demonstrate great grace too,” Farooq wrote, stressing the importance of treating motorcyclists with respect. She urged drivers to avoid unnecessary honking, which can frighten children riding on bikes.

Farooq also called for understanding in situations where motorcyclists may unintentionally move into a car’s lane. “If they’ve teetered into your lane a little, be patient unless you fear a collision,” she appealed.

Her message comes amid a rise in road accidents across Pakistan. On Monday, a water tanker collided with a motorcycle on Karachi’s Sharae Faisal road, killing a man and his pregnant wife as they headed to a hospital. Another tragic incident on February 16 claimed eleven lives and injured seven others in Punjab province, underscoring the urgent need for better road safety and awareness.
