Faisal Kapadia Reveals Close Bond with Junaid Jamshed

Faisal Kapadia, one half of the legendary band Strings, is a highly respected musician. Now embarking on a new journey with his debut solo album, he recently appeared on ‘After Hours with Ushna Shah.’ When asked about his first live performance, Faisal recalled the nerves he felt during Strings’ debut concert in Islamabad in July 1990.

His voice gave out during sound check, but to his surprise, Junaid Jamshed showed up and offered words of encouragement, telling them, “You guys are great.”

Kapadia shared fond memories of his bond with Junaid, noting that they both learned from the same teacher, Ustaad Chahat Hussain Khan Sahib. He described Junaid as his classical music partner, with whom he would often listen to long pieces like Raga Darbari. Their shared passion for music created a strong connection between them.

Strings, initially formed in Karachi in 1988 by Bilal Maqsood, Faisal Kapadia, Rafiq Wazir Ali, and Kareem Bashir Bhoy, went on to achieve legendary status in Pakistan’s music industry.

Who is Faisal Kapadia?

Faisal Kapadia  is a Pakistani musician, composer, singer-songwriter, and guitarist, widely recognized as the lead vocalist and primary lyricist of the rock band Strings. Following the band’s dissolution, he embarked on a solo music career. Kapadia has also directed several music videos for Strings, which made its Bollywood debut in 2006.

Since September 2005, Kapadia and his fellow Strings member Bilal Maqsood have served as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors for Pakistan.

Danish Taimoor and Sarah Khan are starring together for the first time in Sher written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and directed by Aehsun Talish. This was a highly anticipated show since it was announced. The drama’s first teaser is out now and we are introduced to the two fierce characters in an action-packed sequence.

The first teaser of the drama dropped with Danish Taimoor in his signature angry young man avatar entering the scene with a gun in his hand. Sarah Khan is also wearing a ghagra choli and she has her own gun. The leading duo points their guns at each other and we are communicated as viewers that they belong to two waring clans.

But the scene reminded us of a very popular pop culture reference. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are two Bollywood stars who are married to each other. They started their reel and real life love story with the film Ram Leela and they had a scene which we got to see in the Sher teaser as well.

Tazeen Hussain Starts a New Chapter with Her Marriage

Actress, professor, and daughter of senior actor Talat Hussain, Tazeen Hussain has tied the knot for the second time.

A close friend shared photos of her wedding on Instagram, showing a simple and warm ceremony attended by family, friends, and close acquaintances.

Tazeen looked stunning on her big day, wearing a traditional red and gold bridal outfit with elegant jewellery and makeup.

She held the wedding ceremony on Friday in Karachi.

Tazeen’s husband, Amir Sayedin, hails from Karachi, completed his higher education in Lahore, and has been living in Riyadh since 2001. He works in the financial sector and has authored several books and ghazals under the pen name Ain Sein.

Tazeen Hussain has served the education sector for many years as an associate professor and department head at various universities.

In a recent statement, she said, “Widows of society need to move forward from the grief of their late husbands,” highlighting her inspiring journey of resilience and hope.

Tazeen returned to television in 2023 with the drama serial Yunhi and has since appeared in several other notable dramas and telefilms, including Mahlat and Aurat.

Who is Tazeen Hussain?

Hussain began her acting career in 1994 with Shalimar Television Network’s telefilm Raqeeb, starring opposite Faisal Rehman. She later appeared in Syed Mohammad Ahmed’s telefilm Aurat. In Shahpar, she portrayed a young woman struggling with management issues.

After a break of more than fifteen years, Hussain returned to television in Mohammed Ehteshamuddin’s Yunhi, where she played a composed, divorced daughter from a typical Pakistani family. She then starred in Mehreen Jabbar’s Jurm, portraying a mother in search of justice for her murdered daughter.

Sabahat Bukhari’s Realistic Take On Working In India

Sabahat Bukhari is a very talented artist of Pakistan. She started her career from PTV and she is nowadays a part of many big dramas. We recently saw her in a positive role in Iqtidar and she gained a lot of praise. She has been working in the drama industry for decades now and she shared her experiences in career and life in an interview with Wasi Shah.

Sabahat Bukhari was asked if she ever gets any offers from India. She replied that nowadays as there is a huge following of Pakistani dramas, she is asked by fans to come and visit India but over the years she has received work offers from there as well. She added that she does not want to make tall claims but she was offered to be a part of Big Boss once and she just did not feel it was the right thing for her to do.

Sabahat Bukhari had a very realistic attitude towars working in India. She said that yes she has also received offers and when she is aware of reality then what is the use of going to work there and come back after getting insulted like what has happened to other Pakistani artists. Thus she never considered those offers seriously.
